Care InstructionsWicket-keeping gloves take a lot of impact and absorb sweat. Cleaning them quickly and letting them dry properly helps them last longer.
Always wear inners to keep sweat away from keeping gloves.
After play, wipe the palm and back with a damp cloth.
Clean the webbing between the thumb and forefinger, where dirt builds up.
Air-dry them flat, away from direct sun or heat.
Store them in a breathable cloth bag, not a sealed plastic bag.
Don’t machine-wash or tumble-dry them.
Don’t use oil-based or harsh cleaners on the palm surface.
Don’t leave them damp inside the kit bag.
Don’t keep them next to shoes or other smelly gear.
Don’t keep playing in gloves with a worn-through palm.
Loose or worn-out wicket-keeping gloves offer less protection and can lead to missed catches. Replace them when the palm wears out or the finger padding becomes flat.
